National Radar: Recruiting update on some of the Top 2023 WR’s in the Southeast Region

With National Signing Day in the rearview mirror, the Class of 2023 is on deck. National Radar has been keeping tabs on the recruitment of some of the top wide receivers in the 2023 class from the Southeast region. Here’s an update on some of those prospects.


Adam Hopkins | 5-11 | 171 | GA

Hopkins caught 28 passes for 357 yards (12.8 ypc.) and two touchdowns in nine game last season. His 10-plus offers include Florida State, Georgia, Michigan State, Penn State, and Kentucky.


Adarius Redmond | 6-1 | 180 | TN

Redmond took a Junior Day visit to Penn State in mid-January. He caught 54 passes for 990 yards (18.3 ypc.) and 7 touchdowns in 14 games last season. Redmond's 10-plus offers include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and LSU.

Ahmari Borden | 6-3 | 185 | FL

Borden caught 35 passes for 666 yards (19.0 ypc) and four touchdowns in 11 games last season. His 10-plus offers include Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, Michigan State, Ole Miss, and Oregon.

Ayden Williams | 6-2 | 190 | MS

Williams had a strong junior year campaign as he caught 63 passes for 1,156 yards and 14 touchdowns in nine games. He has offers from Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi, and Mississippi State

Brandon Inniss | 6-0 | 190 | FL

Innis will be taking a visit to Ohio State on Apr. 2. He showcased his talents at both the quarterback and wide receiver this past season for his high school team. Inniss completed 41-of-98 passes for 604 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions in eight games. He also caught 44 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns. Inness’ 30-plus offers include Alabama, Baylor, Cincinnati, Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma.

Bryson Rodgers | 6-2 | 173 | FL

Rodgers was re-offered by LSU on Jan. 27. He caught 42 passes for 645 yards (15.4 ypc.) and 14 touchdowns in 10 games last season. Rodgers' 30-plus offers include Penn State, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon, and Ohio State.


Carnell Tate | 6-2 | 170 | FL



Tate committed to play in the All American Game on Feb. 3. He was re-offered by LSU on Jan. 27. His 30-plus offers include Alabama, Arizona, Cincinnati, Georgia, Florida State, and Louisville.


Cayden Lee | 6-0 | 175 | GA

Lee’s latest offer came from Cincinnati on Feb. 2. He took an unofficial visit to Oklahoma on Jan. 29. Lee's 20-plus offers include Duke, Georgia, Kentucky, Colorado, LSU, and Louisville. He caught 54 passes for 1,014 yards (18.8 ypc.) and 11 touchdowns in 13 games last season.


Daquayvious Sorey | 6-1 | 185 | FL

Sorey’s latest offer came from Colorado on Feb. 5. He committed to Georgia on Feb. 29, 2021. Sorey caught 30 passes for 546 yards (18.2 ypc.) and six touchdowns in 13 games last season.


Devin Hyatt | 6-2 | 190 | FL

Hyatt’s latest offer came from Colorado on Feb. 4. HIs 10-plus offers include Alabama, Auburn, Coastal Carolina, Florida State, and Georgia.


Hykeem Williams | 6-4 | 205 | FL

Williams named his top eight schools on Feb. 7. Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Miami (FL), Oklahoma, Rutgers, USC, and Texas A&M all made the cut for Williams. He caught 31 passes for 693 yards (22.4 ypc.) and six touchdowns in six games last season.

Jalen Brown | 6-1 | 160 | FL

Brown’s most recent offer came from Oklahoma on Feb. 8. He caught 56 passes for 1,033 yards (18.4 ypc.) and 11 touchdowns in 11 games last season. Brown's 30-plus offers include Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami (FL), Notre Dame, and Oklahoma.


Justin Brown | 6-2 | 185 | TN

Brown’s most recent offers came from Pitt and Ole Miss on Feb. 8. Kansas, Colorado, and Northwestern have also offered Brown during the month of February. He caught 69 passes for 1,144 yards (16.6 ypc.) and 11 touchdowns in nine games last season.

Karmello English | 6-0 | 185 | AL

Colorado offered English on Feb. 4. He narrowed his list of schools down to eight back on Nov. 27, 2021. West Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Cincinnati, Penn State, Auburn, Mississippi State, and Arkansas made the cut at that time. He caught 70 passes for 1,059 yards (15.1 ypc.) and 18 touchdowns last season.


Keion Wallace | 6-3 | 215 | GA

His offers include Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.

Nathaniel Joseph | 5-10 | 165 | FL


Joseph committed to Clemson back on Sep. 2021. He caught 33 passes for 632 yards (19.2 ypc.) and five touchdowns in nine games last season.

Raymond Cottrell | 6-3 | 205 | 189 | FL

Cottrell committed to Georgia on Nov. 11, 2021. He caught 63 passes for 985 yards and eight touchdowns in ten games last season.


Santana Fleming | 6-0 | 155 | FL



Fleming will be visiting Florida on Mar. 6. His 40-plus offers include Alabama, Cincinnati, Florida, Georgia, Oregon, Penn State, Miami (FL), LSU, and Michigan State.


Tyler Williams | 6-5 | 190 | FL

Louisville offered Williams on Feb. 7. His 30-plus offers include Cincinnati, Clemson, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Oregon, Penn State, and Rutgers. He caught 36 passes for 807 yards and nine touchdowns in nine games last season.


William Fowles | 6-2 | 190 | FL



Fowles’ latest offer came from Missouri on Feb. 4.
