With National Signing Day in the rearview mirror, the Class of 2023 is on deck. National Radar has been keeping tabs on the recruitment of some of the top wide receivers in the 2023 class from the Mid-Atlantic region. Here’s an update on some of those prospects.
ALEC HALL | 6-2 | NC
Hall caught 33 passes for 502 yards (15.2 ypc.) and eight touchdowns in 13 games last season. Hall has an offer from Duke.
CHRISTIAN HAMILTON | 6-0 | 170 | NC
Hamilton had a strong junior year campaign as he caught 49 passes for 916 yards (18.7 ypc.) and 12 touchdowns in 11 games last season. Hamilton named his top 12 schools back on Jan. 11. Notre Dame, Penn State, Clemson, Louisville, Texas A&M, UNC, and Georgia were among the schools who made the cut.
CHRIS CULLIVER | 6-3 | 180 | NC
He received his first FBS offer from Duke on Jan. 29. Culliver’s 12-plus other offers include Kentucky, Michigan State, UNC, N.C. State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Ohio State.
KRYSTIAN WILLIAMS | 6-1 | 170 | VA
Williams went on a Junior Day visit to Virginia Tech on Jan. 30. His latest offers are from Wake Forest (Feb. 2) and Boston College (Feb. 8).
JAMARR EBRON | 5-9 | 160 | MD
His latest offer came from Buffalo on Feb. 1. He took an unofficial visit to James Madison on Jan. 30.
JAEDN SKEETE | 6-0 | 177 | MA
Skeete pretty much ended all the drama with his recruitment back on Aug. 5, 2020, when he committed to Boston College. He has other offers from Arizona, UConn, UMass, and Pittsburgh.
JOSHUA RICHARDS | 6-4 | 175 | NJ
Richards caught 21 passes for 388 yards (18.5 ypc.) and eight touchdowns in 11 games last season. He has offers from Syracuse and Temple.
LEON GRIFFIN | 5-11 | 180 | VA
Griffin has offers from Buffalo, ODU, and Virginia.
KALEN COBB | 6-5 | 210 | MD
Cobb has offers from Buffalo, Howard, Maryland, South Florida, and Toledo.
KENNY JOHNSON | 6-1 | 185 | PA
Johnson caught 46 passes for 852 yards (18.5 ypc.) and seven touchdowns in 10 games last season. He took an unofficial visit to Penn State on Jan. 28. His recent offers include West Virginia and Bowling Green.
KEVIN CONCEPCION | 5-11 | 175 | NC
Concepcion had one of the strongest seasons on the field out of the majority of athletes included in this article. He caught 79 passes for 1,432 yards (20.5 ypc.) and 22 touchdowns in 15 games last season. He had six games of 120-plus yards receiving and six games of 2 or more touchdown catches. That is great production. His 12-plus offers include Wake Forest, Louisville, UNC , N.C. State, Coastal Carolina, and Boston College.
NASIR ADDISON | 6-2 | 181 | NJ
Addison caught 20 passes for 389 yards and one touchdown last season. He also made 28.5 total tackles on the defensive side of the football. His 10-plus offers include, Maryland, Boston College, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Pitt, and Syracuse.
NATHAN LEACOCK | 6-4 | 190 | NC
Leacock displayed his big-play capabilities catching the football last season. He caught 37 passes for 734 yards (19.8 ypc) and 10 total touchdowns during his junior-year campaign. He also carried the football 24 times for 221 yards (9.2 ypc.) and three touchdowns. Leacock received offers from Appalachian State, Duke, Coastal Carolina, Boston College, and Kentucky during the month of January.
NOAH ROGERS | 6-3 | 185 | NC
Rogers had a very productive junior-year season. He caught 79 passes for 1,432 yards (20.5 ypc.) and 22 touchdowns in 15 games last season. Simply put: He is the truth. Rogers’ 20-plus offers include Clemson, Duke, Maryland, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, and Virginia.
OLUWAKOLEADE OSINUBI | 6-1 | 165 | MA
Osinubi has an offer from UMass.
OMAREE WALKER | 5-10 | 170 | NJ
Walker has offers from Duke, Umass, Syracuse, Clemson, and Ohio State.
PAUL BILLUPS | 6-2 | 186 | VA
Billups’ 10-plus offers include Penn State, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Liberty, and Maryland.
RONAN HANAFIN | 6-3 | 206 | MA
Hanafin has established himself as one of the top athletes on the East Coast. His offer list includes Pittsburgh, Penn State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Maryland, Michigan, and Duke.
RODNEY GALLAGHER | 6-0 | 170 | PA
Gallagher is one of the top athletes in the Mid-Atlantic region. He completed 107-of-179 passes for 1,365 yards, 12 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Gallagher also ran the football 169 times for 1,130 yards and 21 touchdowns. He’s playing quarterback out of necessity for now but will be a wide receiver at the next level. Gallagher was re-offered by Virginia Tech (coaching change during the offseason). His list of 20-plus offers include Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Nebraska, Mississippi, Minnesota, Syracuse, Toledo, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
RYAN MANNING | 6-0 | 165 | MD
Manning’s recruitment has picked up big time since the end of his junior year season. He has offers from Alabama A&M, Boston College, Coastal Carolina, Duke, Howard, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and Penn State.
SPENCER JONES | 6-3 | 185 | MD
Jones took an unofficial visit to USC on Jan. 31. He has offers from Maryland, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
ZION FOWLER | 6-1 | 185 | NJ
Fowler has offers from Pittsburgh, Akron, UMass, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech.
