PRESS RELEASE

Alex Phillips, a standout wide receiver from South Plaquemines High School in Louisiana, has earned his well-deserved spot in the Dream Football Classic. At 6’0” and 185 pounds, Phillips is a dual-threat athlete known for his power, precision, and game-changing abilities. With accolades such as District Defensive MVP, South Plaquemines Football MVP, and Outstanding Athlete Awards, Phillips consistently proves himself as one of the best in his class.

His versatility and leadership have also earned him recognition as a first-team all-district player, all-state honorable mention, and all-metro selection.

As Phillips prepares to showcase his skills on a national stage at the Dream Football Classic, he brings with him the accolades and experience that set him apart from the competition. This event is an opportunity for him to prove why he is one of the nation’s elite players and a future star in the sport.

Committee leader and CEO of Dream Sports Group, Shannon Riley, says “the athletes that were selected have exemplified great leadership skills on and off the field, and have stood out as leading performers in each position. We believe that these are the next stars of the game, and we want to recognize them for their outstanding achievements and help them get to the next level.”
