Introducing Dream Football Classic Linebacker Joshua Smith

Joshua Smith, an outstanding linebacker from High Point Christian Academy in North Carolina, has been invited to compete in the Dream Football Classic. Standing at 6'3" and weighing 240 pounds, Joshua has established himself as one of the top defensive players in his region. His athletic profile speaks volumes, with accolades including Division II All-State and Defensive Player of the Year for 2023. His speed, strength, and football IQ have earned him recognition not only in North Carolina but nationally as well, ranking as one of the top sack leaders in the country.


Joshua’s combination of speed, power, and intelligence allows him to excel in both pass coverage and run defense. His ability to read offensive schemes and make quick adjustments on the field makes him a highly effective linebacker and edge rusher. His leadership qualities are evident in his relentless work ethic, both on and off the field, as demonstrated by his commitment to community service and his achievements in the classroom, maintaining a 3.5 GPA.


The Dream Football Classic will provide Joshua with the perfect opportunity to continue showcasing his talents in front of a national audience. With guidance from former NFL players and college coaches, Joshua is poised to elevate his game even further and solidify his place among the top linebackers in the nation.
